What would you do if you received this message?  I just bought a TV which is being shipped to my home.  Two days ago I was notified it had arrived in Melbourne and was arriving later that day.  It never did.  Then yesterday morning I received this message.  Look at both of the links!  The first one is from apteancloud.com not dhl.com.  The second one is from dhl.-com (note the suspicious dash before the "com")

Since being in the cybersecurity game, I've found myself trying not to get paranoid and suspicious about everything and everyone, but these links were red flags.  My 77" OLED TV had not arrived as it was supposed to, then I get a message purportedly from DHL with suspicious links.  In my head, I was imagining my thousands of dollars worth of TV slipping through my fingers to some scam.  But how could scammers have known that I had just made this purchase? … and what was the scam anyway?  It didn’t add up.

So I did not click on these links and instead rang DHL directly.  Turns out that it was a legitimate message.  The TV requires two people to deliver, and so the delivery needs to be booked.  Shame on DHL for using suspicious looking links that were not going to dhl.com.  It's dumb on their behalf because it's not difficult to do it properly, just burdens their call centre staff, and results in a poor customer experience.  Not to mention the delay in receiving.
